The Anti-Oxidant Experiment

I partnered with SkinCeuticals to do the Anti-Oxidant Experiment using their gold standard, CE Ferulic serum. Honestly, I’ve always wanted to try this out for myself to see if it really works!

This L-Ascorbic Acid serum was game-changing for me. It was the first one I ever used and made me fall in love with what it does for my skin. This has been the 1 consistent ingredient in my morning routine for years and I won’t be without it. Even if it wasn’t for the glowy, brightening effect it has on my complexion, I would use this powerful anti-oxidant purely for the environmental protection and proven boost that this gives sunscreens against UV damage.

Also, I decided to leave the apple out overnight for 24 hours and am still in awe of the results!

Wishing you great skin health!

Hi, Renée. I just ordered The Ordinary’s 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder. Would I be able to use SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic in the morning and the powder as part of my nighttime routine? I don’t see that the SkinCeuticals conflicts with Niacinamides, but The Ordinary’s powder does. Is it because the powder is more concentrated? Thank you for all your insight. Your videos and blogs have been a game changer.

Hi Allie! You don’t need to use both, you could alternate them for the morning. Niacinamide and L-AA do not conflict, I believe the Ordinary put the disclaimer to be extra cautious if anyone experiences flushing of the skin. It’s harmless though.

Hi Renee! May I know when this comes into the routine, and where you got your brush from? Thank you! 🙂

Hi! I always use this in the morning, first step after cleansing. Also the brush came in the Experiment kit from Skinceuticals!

Hi Renee, I was wondering if I need to get a separate neck cream for anti ageing and if so which do you recommend?
    Thank You
