Dermstore 25% Anniversary Sale Picks

I’ve been waiting and I have a list. The Dermstore Anniverary sale is upon us like an early Black Friday. This is where I stock up on those skincare luxuries that make my eyes turn into hearts and my credit card tremble at regular retail. With over 400 brands on sale and up to 25% off, I figured I’d share my favourite picks for the products/brands that are discounted at 25% for face, body, hair and devices! Because 15% and 20% are good discounts but 25% is so much better. Happy Shopping, my Skinthusiasts!

1. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil $21
What can I say about this other than it’s a ride-or-die cleansing oil for me. Between Shu Uemura and this, for years, I’ve never come across another one I’ve liked more. And I’ve tried most.

2. REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk $30  Cruelty-Free
I started using cleansing milks about a year ago. This has become one of my favourites. Current go-to. Silky, gentle and rinses off completely clean.

3. Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm $64 Does not test on animals                                                                              If you want to spoil yourself in sensory indulgence while you cleanse your face, this is pure luxury. It’s rich, smells euphoric and emulsifies with water. You could also use a washcloth if you choose but it’s not necessary. This will leave a slight film but the second cleanse takes care of that.

1. Youth to the People Age Prevention Superfood Serum $62 Natural, Vegan, Cruelty-Free
This serum uses a derivative of Vitamin C called Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate but it’s so much more. This serum is a wonderfully hydrating peptide, anti-oxidant serum that helps brighten the skin. A new favourite!

2. Paula’s Choice C25 Super Booster $55  Cruelty-Free
Out of all the anhydrous, over 20% vitamin C solutions, this is the one my skin is most able to tolerate. Powerful but not as irritating. Great for spot treatment of hyperpigmentation or erythema.(Just found out PC products are 15% discount not 25%)

3. Paula’s Choice C15 Super Booster  $49  Cruelty-Free
Great everyday vitamin C serum using L-Ascorbic Acid. A close dupe for Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. (Just found out PC products are 15% discount not 25%)

4. Derma e Vitamin C Concentrated Serum  $24.50 Cruelty-Free
This is another wonderfully hydrating serum using a derivative of Vitamin C, Ascorbyl Phosphate. This is a simple, powerful anti-oxidant serum.

5. Peter Thomas Roth Potent-C Power Serum $95 Does not test on animals
When it comes to hyperpigmentation, melasma, this is a great serum to use. This has THD, a derivative of Vitamin C and for me, this has been just as effective at evening skin tone than a high percentage L-Ascorbic Acid over time.

1. Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Face Mist $32 Cruelty-Free
An old favourite and the first thing I’ve ever gotten from Herbivore Botanicals pre-Sephora when they were still new. Love at first spritz. But I’m also quite partial to rose and this uses Rose Damascena Hydrosol which is far more luxurious than just the extract itself so this gets extra love from me!

2. Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner $32 Vegan, Cruelty-Free
This toner is a standout and the addition of CoQ-10 makes it extra special. This is a simple, hydrating toner that’s so light, refreshing and absolutely lovely.

1. Herbivore Botanicals Lapis Facial Oil  $72 Natural, Gluten-Free, Cruelty-Free
The Herbivore Oil blends are bliss but this one has to be my favourite of them all if not one of my all time favourites. It’s a beautifully balancing, light oil that’s calming, healing, luxurious, simple and pure. The blue tansy puts it over the edge for me.

2. Sunday Riley Juno Essential Face Oil $90 Natural, Vegan, Cruelty-Free
One of my favourite oils for Winter or when my skin is feeling dry or in need of some special comfort. This is my favourite of the SR oils. It has no essential oils so is great for the uber sensitive of skin or nose.

3. Herbivore Botanicals Phoenix Facial Oil $88 Cruelty-Free, Natural
One of my favourite oils for age-delay. This is a beautiful anti-oxidant blend that also contains CoQ-10 and some of my favourite oils including chia seed, sea buckthorn, rosehip and meadowfoam. Also smells like a dream with Rosa Damascena and neroli.

4. Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Acne Treatment Face Oil $80 Gluten-Free, Vegan, Natural, Cruelty-Free
For the very oily and acne prone. Contains salicylic acid as well as tea-tree. I use this for spot or area treatment when my jaw is acting up.

5. African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil $120 Vegan, Cruelty-Free
This is the most luxurious marula oil I’ve tried and exactly the product I wait to buy during a sale. The texture is even more refined than the Drunk Elephant and the addition of Neroli sets it over the top for me. Marula is already a beautifully radiant oil and the neroli adds more glow not to mention a beautiful scent.

1. REN Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask $40 Cruelty-Free
Truly ultra comforting. After a day in the scorching sun or whenever my skin needs to calm down. I like to use this after a clay or acid mask when I’m feeling extra.

2. Sunday Riley SATURN Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask  $55  Cruelty-Free
Really works unexpectedly well. Great spot treatment for when I get hormonal acne and is suprisingly non-drying, which is huge!

3. Herbivore Botanicals Blue Tansy Mask $48 Cruelty-Free
This beautiful blue mask is perfect for sensitive skin. This resurfaces without harsh acids or physical exfoliants. This contains natural fruit enzymes from papaya and pineapple as well as White Willow Bark which is a natural form of salicylic acid to clarify the skin as well. It’s a gentle but effective glow-maker.

1. Youth to the People Kale + Spinach Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Cream $26 Vegan, Natural, Organic, Vegan, Cruelty-Free
A great lightweight moisturizer. This is a gel-cream consistency. Really hydrating, great for summer!

2. Elemis Superfood Day Cream $45 Vegan, Does not test on animals
Lightweight but moisturizing, this contains pre-biotics and some of my favourite superfoods – Matcha, Ginseng, Honey, Goji berry, this is almost medicinal which I love. A new discovery I’ve been loving this Summer.

3. 100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream$26 Cruelty-Free, Vegan, Natural
Love this eye cream for its ability to depuff and how light-weight it is. This will not cause milia or your concealer to slide.

1. Soleil Toujours 100% Mineral Sunscreen Glow SPF 30 $39 Not tested on Animals, Vegan
Probably my all time favourite body sunscreen. It’s indulgent for sure but glorious. The bronze glow from this is subtle, perfect and so flattering. Transforms my limbs. This also 100% mineral but is not at all heavy or pasty. This moisturizer is also full of antioxidants and hydrating.

2. HydroPeptide Solar Defense Tinted SPF 30 $48 Vegan, Cruelty Free
This tinted version is great for me. This gives me a bit of a bronze glow which is far better than the white cast I get from the non-tinted version. A lovely all-mineral sunscreen with a great formula full of anti-oxidants and hydration.

3.Derma e Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Oil-Free Face Lotion $19.75 Vegan, Cruelty-Free
One of the lightest, all-mineral sunscreens I’ve tried. Beautiful formula and less of a white-cast than most. On me, it barely leaves one. Applies beautifully and disappears into my skin.

4. Love Sun Body 100% Natural Origin Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 $32 Organic, Cruelty-Free, Vegan, Oil-Free
Really clean, simple, no scent whatsoever!! Huge plus in my book. 100% Mineral and very moisturizing body sunscreen. Perfect for young children or sensitive skin. It starts a little thicker but rubs in without a trace.

5. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Sheer Mineral Sun Spray Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 Plus Protection $42 Cruelty-Free
One of the few truly sheer sunscreens that are 100% mineral. It’s magical. Also very water-resistant. I use this on face as well as body!

6. MDSolarSciences Quick Dry Body Spray SPF 40 $20
Truly quick drying body spray. Forms a fast protective film on your skin. Formula contains a potent antioxidant complex of green tea, pomegranate and cranberry extracts.

1. REN Clean Skincare Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Anti-Fatigue Body Wash $27 Vegan, Cruelty-Free
All the REN body washes are a win for me. Take your pick, they are my ride or die. A must during the Winter as it does not dry out the skin at all. Contains no sulfates, slightly foaming and an elevated, natural scent. This is the newest one which invigorates as you clean.

2. REN Clean Skincare Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash  $28 Cruelty-Free
Forever a favourite.

3. PLANT Apothecary BE WELL Bodywash $18 Organic, Cruelty-Free, Natural
Love this 100% natural and all organic line of body washes.

4. REN Clean Skincare AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum $42 Cruetly-Free
This has become a Summer staple. This has kept my skin glowing, flake-free and has evened out the skin tone of my legs. Great for slowly removing texture not to mention bumps!

1. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment $32 Vegan, Not tested on animals
Love this refreshing scalp treatment. Applies in a non-drippy way but is light as water. Also one of the few scalp serums that does not contain alcohol. Non-irritating

2. Sachajuan Dry Powder Shampoo $35
The best.

3. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo $42 Vegan, Sulfate-Free, Not tested on animals
A great shampoo for the scalp – refreshing and clarifying.

4. REVERIE CAKE Restorative Scalp Tonic $72  Organic, Cruelty-Free
My favourite luxury scalp treatment. This nourishes the skin, is thin and water-based so does not goop up the hair. Non-irritating. No alcohol. I always stock up on this during sales!

1 FOREO LUNA Purple $39
I don’t regularly use cleansing tools but have always loved my Luna 2. This one is for sensitive skin and is less about exfoliation as it is about the massage which I love during cleansing.

2. ReFa CARAT FACE $220
Gets the circulation going in the face. The micro currents and strange way it pinches the skin offers an interesting massage. I love this around my jaw line, neck and decollete. I believe it is really effective at depuffing, debloating and contouring that jaw.

3. Jade Roller Beauty Rose Quartz Beauty Roller $65
I love a good Jade roll.

4. slip Queen Pure Silk Pillowcase $85
Skin and scalp changing. I wake up with no lines across my face and less hair breakage. This also doesn’t absorb any skincare.

Wishing you great skinhealth!

So interested in that REN serum for body. I have KP that gets incredibly itchy and wonder if it will help…

It will gradually sort that out and best of all prevent new ones from forming. It’s also just a great moisturizer for the body too!

Haha, you don’t NEED a Refa too! I reach for my Refa more than the Nuface though, for quickie, pinchy massage.
